Cyberheist is a term made up of the words “cyber” and “heist” and describes a type of criminal activity in which a thief or group of thieves hacks into a digital facility, such as a bank or financial institution, to illegally steal money or other valuables.
In a cyberheist, attackers often use advanced technologies and techniques to bypass security measures and go unnoticed. These include, for example, social engineering, phishing, malware attacks and attacks on software vulnerabilities.
Cyberheists are a growing threat to businesses and financial institutions as they can potentially steal large amounts of money and data. To protect themselves from cyberheists, many companies and organizations are turning to enhanced security measures and employee training to reduce the risk of phishing and social engineering attacks.
